Opsound
Opsound ist ein Internetportal, das es Nutzern erlaubt ihre, unter einer Creative Commons stehende, Musik auf die Seite hochzuladen und somit im Internet zu veröffentlichen. Andere Nutzer können sich die Inhalte, die zumeist als MP3-Daten vorliegen herunterladen.
Opsound
Opsound is an internet portal, where people can add their music to a soundpool from which others can donwload songs. All songs are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or are in the Public domain.
Philosophy
Opsound considers itself a "gift economy in action, an experiment in applying the model of free software to music. Musicians and sound artists are invited to add their work to the Opsound pool using a copyleft license developed by Creative Commons. Listeners are invited to download, share, remix, and reimagine." Technical details
Musicians can't however upload their content to Opsound, as it doesn't host files, but can host their files at the Internet Archive's Open Source Audio Project Songs can be downloaded but not directly listened to on the hompeage. However the last published songs can be listened to directly on Fluctu8, an web based aggregator.
